New office ushered for motor sport

MOTORCROSS: The new East Africa Motor Sports Club (EAMSC) committee was unveiled Sunday at the Annual General Meeting. The office led by incoming chairman Chris Wahome have been tasked with improvement of the image of the sport on all fronts.
“This is the challenge and I know this can be achieved as we move along. I thank my committee for their support in the past two years and I believe now motorcross is in better hands,” said outgoing boss Renzo Benardi.
Other new officials elected are Sophie Wanjigi as the Secretary and Chege Waithaka as the Treasurer of the 59 year-old regional home of motorcross. In his address,Wahome requested the stakeholders do their bit in raising the profile overally. – BARRY SILAH
