Whitney Houston's family claim Nick Gordon has NEVER tried to visit Bobbi Kristina in hospital, despite reports he has been seen at the facility.
The late singer's relatives have hit back at her 21-year-old daughter's 'husband' after he released a statement via his lawyer, Randy Kessler, suggesting he hasn't been allowed to see the aspiring singer, who is fighting for her life at Emory University Hospital in Atlanta after being found face down in her bathtub on January 31.
A Houston family source says they are furious with Nick's lawyer for suggesting they banned him from visiting his ailing girlfriend, and claims he has never once tried to make his way inside the medical facility.
However, Nick is said to have been seen in front of the hospital and was rumoured to be taking legal action after being banned from visiting Bobbi, which he denies.
His statement read: "In response to reports that Nick Gordon is taking legal action, he would like it to be clear, he is not. Mr. Gordon's only concern is the recovery of Bobbi Kristina.
"He remains in constant prayer for his companion," the statement added, and he hopes to be reunited with her soon."
Bobbi's cousin Jerod Brown previously suggested Nick was preparing to seek legal action because he has not been allowed to see her.
Nick was unofficially adopted by Whitney when he was 12 years old and he and Bobbi - whose father is Bobby Brown - claimed on Twitter in January 2014 that they had married, but her father's lawyer recently insisted they have not tied the knot.
Police have launched a criminal investigation to find out what happened to Bobbi, who is said to be slowly making progress despite still being in a medically-induced coma.
