The East African Digital Marketing Summit & Show; Where Digital Marketing Comes to Life & Discussions Encompass All Things Digital
Marketers have been urged
to tap the continuing rise in potential of East African economies for their organizations
by tapping existing opportunities in the digital space.
The Digital Fair CEO, Mr
Martin Muli, says the growing pool of talent in digital and mobile marketing
space in the region offers companies opportunities for effective sales
campaigns and revenue conversions.
“The changing marketing
and media opportunities require marketers to evolve themselves and stay ahead
of the market, while ensuring they remain relevant and competitive,” says Muli
who is also the organizer of the annual Social Media Awards (SOMA).
Muli made the remarks
ahead of the East Africa Digital Marketing Summit and Show set for Nairobi in
April.
The event which will bring
together key players in the digital marketing space from the regionwill give
marketers opportunity to sample out latest digital media and communications
applications.
More than 50 exhibitors
from East Africa will participate in the summit themed Digital for effective
marketing communication, which will include panel discussions by leading
techies and marketers.
Topics to be explored
during the summit include digital marketing global trends versus regional
reality, emerging mobile technologies and trends, cyber security and
management, the digital landscape: content generation and distribution and
efficient digital gadgets for marketers.
The event is designed to
bring together different providers of digital products and services under one
roof to showcase their offering to marketers.

showcase the latest digital trends and engage marketers from different
organizations. Digital solutions offer marketers limitless opportunities to
accelerate growth of their brands,” says Muli.
The Summit whose inaugural
event was held last year has been expanded to cover the East African region and
will be held at the Kenyatta International Conference Centre (KICC).
The exhibitors will
include mobile service providers, software developers, mobile phones
manufacturers, social media marketing agencies, web consulting services,
digital branding agencies, e-commerce companies, advertising agencies and media
houses.
