Famous Ghanaian events promoter brutally beaten

Most countries in Africa are not ready to accept homosexuality anytime soon. In Mauritania, Sudan, and northern Nigeria, homosexuality is punishable by death.
In Uganda, Tanzania, and Sierra Leone, offenders can receive life imprisonment for homosexual acts. Ghanaian events promoter, Kinto Rothmans was brutally beaten up by an angry mob two days back after he was accused of being gay, adding the number of victims of homophobia.
Last year, Joji Baro, a self-confessed homosexual local gospel artiste was also attacked because of his sexuality.
